DAHLIA CSA
We're offering a CSA this fall that focuses on the beloved dahlias! Each week receive either a bouquet or a loose bucket of flowers to arrange with. Each week will include different types of dahlias, from large "dinnerplates" to geometric "ball" dahlias, and all different colors. There will also be complementary foliage and filler from our fields, such as eucalyptus, celosia, and more. The CSA runs for 4 weeks, from approximately mid-September to mid-October. Enjoy these vibrant beauties all season long!
Why join our dahlia CSA?
~Flower CSA members get first dibs on our flowers, and the highest quality ones. Often they come on slow early in the season, so CSA members get priority. This way you can be guaranteed a steady stream of these beautiful blooms, without having to show up early to the farmstand or market.
~Special percs: we intend to show our appreciation to our CSA members-- bouquets or buckets will be beefy, and there will be opportunities to stroll the flower fields and see the flowers in their glory. We're also planning on doing a U-Pick sunflower and dahlia event in October, and CSA members will be get discounts if you come!
~Late summer/early fall is when we purchase all our fall corms and bulbs (such as ranunculus and anemones). It's a resource intensive time for us. Help us get through the "summer slump," as it's known in the flower world.
