Our pastured chickens are raised during the growing season, from March until November. They're moved daily to ensure they have access to fresh, palatable grasses and legumes. Our chickens are fed a grain mix that is grown & ground fresh on our farm. The grain is GMO-free and grown in accordance with the organic standards. Our farm is currently not certified organic, but we are actively seeking certification.
Pasture Song Farm chicken is available as whole frozen chickens, and as parts (boneless breast, legs, wings, chicken backs). Also available are many hard to find items, such as chicken feet and organs. You can find our chicken at our usual retail spots, and in our meat share. Our chicken is available from May, and then usually through February.
